Tally-Ho Hunting Safaris - newsletter April 2017

Hi to all our fellow hunters and friends

The 2017 season is underway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The grass looks good and the bush is thick and green, decent rain has fallen over our area in the summer but the vegetation seems fragile. I feel like the rain just wasn't enough and I think the leaves will drop early this year and the winter is going to be a long one.

Tally-Ho has hosted 4 groups already (21 hunters) and the hunting has been fantastic to say the least, difficult going because of the long grass and thick bush, but fantastic nonetheless.

Highlights of the early season has to be a nice sable and good buffalo taken by Tadeusz of Canada.

We also had a great time finding crocodiles along the Limpopo harvesting 4 nice lizards.

Top notch Eland bull was taken by Mike Jorgensen.

Iwan managed a really nice first Impala, as well as little Tom Lascaris.

As always in the early season the kudu and waterbuck are difficult to find but we know they are there and I am sure we will be finding them in big numbers come June/July.

Traditionally at Tally-Ho we love to encourage the kids and 2017 is no different.

8 kids have already created great memories this season. As for the Fathers I think the word "Pride" comes to mind.

I am looking forward to the hunts booked for the rest of the season, meeting new people and catching up with old friends around the fire.

This is where the real hunting stories come out and get enjoyed by all.

Weidmannsheil, Dashbur, Hoitjagd and good gunting

I know the pics speak a thousand words, so enjoy checking out some of the trophies and general pics from the early season
